The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models are expected to launch in 2024, according to industry analysts. Display industry analyst Ross Young has suggested that these models will have larger screen sizes, with the iPhone 16 Pro having a slightly bigger display than the iPhone 14 Pro. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a 6.9-inch display size, which would be a significant upgrade over the outgoing iPhone 14 models, as the iPhone 14 Pro Max currently has a 6.7-inch display.
Earlier, Ross Young had also suggested that all models in the iPhone 15 and 16 series will come with Dynamic Island. The non-Pro models in the iPhone 15 and 16 series may have an LTPS display, while the Pro models in the iPhone 15 and 16 series may have an LTPO display.
The iPhone 15 series is expected to launch in September 2023, with the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus potentially featuring an improved 48-megapixel wide camera sensor. Both models are expected to be powered by an A16 Bionic chip, while the Pro models in the iPhone 15 series are tipped to be powered by the A17 Bionic SoC. Apple may also replace the Lightning charging port with a USB Type-C port on all iPhone 15 models.
In addition, the iPhone 15 Pro Max could have the thinnest “bezel black edge” of any smartphone, measuring just 1.55mm. This suggests that Apple is continuing to prioritize design and aesthetics in their new products, while also improving the technology and features that their customers rely on.
Overall, these rumored updates and improvements to the iPhone lineup over the next few years show that Apple is continuing to innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible in the smartphone industry. With larger displays, improved camera technology, and more powerful processors, the iPhone 15 and 16 series are sure to be highly anticipated releases for Apple fans and tech enthusiasts alike.
