Yamaha Motor India has announced the launch of its updated Fascino and Ray ZR scooters for MY23. The new models come with several improvements, including new colors and engines that meet new norms.
Both the Yamaha Fascino and Ray ZR are now E20 fuel-ready and OBD2 compliant, making them more eco-friendly and efficient. Additionally, the range comes equipped with Bluetooth Enabled Y-Connect App, offering riders features like Fuel Consumption Tracker and Maintenance Recommendations, Last Parking Location, Malfunction Notification, Revs Dashboard, and Rider Ranking.
The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid scooters are now available in a new Dark Matt Blue color. Meanwhile, the Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid comes in two new colors – Matte Black and Light Grey Vermillion. The disc and drum variants of Ray ZR 125 also get new graphics in existing colors like Matt Red, Metallic Black, and Cyan Blue.
The updated scooters are powered by a 125cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected (FI) engine that produces a power output of 8.2 PS at 6500 RPM and a torque of 10.3 Nm at 5000 RPM. The engine is now BS-VI OBD2 and E-20 fuel compliant, which means it adheres to the latest regulations and is more efficient.
The Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid boasts a sporty look with attractive graphics, which is expected to appeal to riders looking for a more stylish ride. The scooters have been popular in India, and the updates are expected to receive positive feedback from customers.
