YouTube Music has recently introduced a new feature that allows its users to create customized radio playlists. The feature is now available to both Android and iOS users and enables them to choose up to 30 of their favorite artists for their playlists.
Apart from selecting their favorite artists, users can also decide how frequently an artist’s songs appear on their playlists. They can also use filters like “new discoveries” or “chill songs” to make their selections more personalized. The feature is available to both free and paid users in all countries where YouTube is accessible.
To create a custom radio playlist, users have to go to the YouTube Music homepage and select the “Your music tuner” option. YouTube Music said that this new feature will give users more control over their music listening experience. Previously, the Alphabet-owned music streaming platform allowed users to customize their music queue in the Now Playing section.
While Apple Music and Spotify also offer the option to choose artists for radio playlists, they do not provide additional customization options like YouTube Music. To further enhance the overall music listening experience, YouTube Music has launched a redesigned library interface on Android and iOS devices.
The new UI interface provides immediate access to playlists, songs, albums, and more. The Recent activity tab and category list have been removed from the new UI. The redesigned library interface is available to both Android and iOS users.
YouTube Music’s new feature and redesigned library interface aim to make the platform more user-friendly and personalized for music lovers. The company hopes that these new features will improve the overall music listening experience and increase user engagement.
