Bajaj Auto Launches 2023 Pulsar NS160 and NS200 Motorcycles in India with USD Forks and Dual-Channel ABS

Bajaj Auto has just launched their 2023 Pulsar NS160 and NS200 motorcycles in India, and they’re sure to get your heart racing! These sporty bikes are aimed at young riders who want to make a statement on the road.

But, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty. The ex-showroom price of NS160 is INR 1.34 lakhs, while the NS200 is priced a bit higher at INR 1.47 lakhs. But hey, who needs to worry about that when you’re cruising around on one of these bad boys?

One exciting thing to note is that these motorcycles come with USD (Upside Down) forks in the front, a first in the Pulsar range. And that’s not all, both motorcycles have undergone some minor tweaks to improve their overall performance.

The NS160 now features 33 mm USD forks and the same set of bigger tyres as the NS200. Plus, both motorcycles now have dual-channel ABS as standard. Sorry folks, there’s no single-channel ABS option.

But wait, there’s more! The updated metre now displays trip mileage and distance to empty info. And, the NS200 is 3 kg lighter at 158 kg, while the NS160 is 1 kg heavier at 152 kg.

In terms of engine power, the NS160 is equipped with a 160cc engine producing 17.2 PS at 9000 RPM and 14.6 Nm at 7250 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the NS200 boasts a 200cc engine producing 24.5 PS at 9750 RPM and 18.7 Nm at 8000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

It’s no surprise that the Pulsar range has been popular in India for many years. Bajaj Auto is one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India, and the launch of these motorcycles is expected to boost their sales even more.

2023 Pulsar NS160 and NS200 motorcycles will be soon launched in Nepal.
