Mahindra & Mahindra is set to launch its much-awaited XUV300 TurboSport in Nepal soon. The XUV300 TurboSport is expected to be the most powerful vehicle in its segment, thanks to its 1.2-liter engine with a 130 PS output. It can go from 0-60 km/h in just five seconds, making it a thrilling ride for adventure seekers.
The engine also comes equipped with an ‘over-boost’ function that can boost the peak torque output up to 250 Nm. The XUV300 TurboSport is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox that provides a smooth and effortless driving experience.
The XUV300 TurboSport draws inspiration from the Mahindra Super XUV300, the current Indian National Rally Champion, and winner of 6 national rallies since its debut in 2019. It has sporty design elements like red grille inserts, black ORVMs, dual-tone exteriors, and all-black leatherette interiors with chrome-finish pedals.
The XUV300 TurboSport will be available in four new color options, including Blazing Bronze with a black rooftop, Napoli Black with a white rooftop, Pearl White with a black rooftop, and Blazing Bronze in monotone. The vehicle also gets black-themed interiors with leatherette seats, giving it a premium look.
The XUV300 TurboSport boasts several exciting features, including dual-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and auto headlamps. The vehicle also comes equipped with a rear parking camera with adaptive guidelines, 17.78 cm infotainment, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity, electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs, micro-hybrid technology, and steering-mounted controls.
The XUV300 TurboSport has the widest-in-class dimensions and the longest-in-class wheelbase of 2600mm, resulting in the most spacious cabin. The vehicle is also one of India’s safest with a 5-star GNCAP Safety rating and 4-star Child Safety. It comes equipped with all 4-wheel disc brakes, front parking sensors, 6 airbags, ESP with hill start assist, ABS, passenger airbag deactivation switch, ISOFIX seats, and Corner Braking Control.
The expected price for the XUV300 TurboSport is around Rs 42.95 lakh onwards, with the top-spec variant costing around Rs 60 lakh. The vehicle will be available in three primary variants – W6, W8, and W8(O). The XUV300 TurboSport will rival the Hyundai Venue turbo-petrol variants, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Tata Nexon.
The launch of the XUV300 TurboSport is highly anticipated in Nepal. It is expected to make a significant impact in the market with its powerful engine, exciting features, and safety features.
