Apple’s iPhone SE 4 to Launch in 2025 with Custom 5G Modem, Impressive 6.1-inch OLED Display, and Advanced Technology

Apple is reportedly working on the iPhone SE 4, which will feature a custom 5G modem made by TSMC, according to analysts Jeff Pu and Ming-Chi Kuo. The phone is expected to launch in 2025 and may face technological obstacles with mmWave and satellite connectivity.

The iPhone SE 4 is the successor to the iPhone SE 2022, released last year, and features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, A15 Bionic SoC, and a single 12-megapixel camera sensor on the back with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens. The iPhone SE 2022 supports wireless charging using the Qi standard and comes with quick 20W wired charging. It is offered in Midnight, Starlight, and (PRODUCT) RED color options.

The iPhone SE 4 may feature a 6.1-inch OLED display supplied by BOE and include a proprietary Apple 5G modem, which will be made by TSMC. Ming-Chi Kuo also suggests the iPhone SE 4 will have an in-house 5G chip made using TSMC’s 4nm technology.

However, Kuo suggests that the iPhone SE 4 may not be available until at least 2024. The iPhone SE 4’s release may also be impacted by technological obstacles with mmWave and satellite connectivity.

The iPhone SE 2022’s battery provides up to 15 hours of video playing or up to 50 hours of audio playback on a single charge. The 128GB model of the iPhone SE 2022 is priced at Rs. 87,000 in Nepal.
