WhatsApp Introduces “Keep in Chat” Feature and Sticker Maker Tool in Latest Update
WhatsApp has recently launched two new features, the “Keep in Chat” and sticker maker tool, in its latest update. The messaging platform has announced that it is rolling out the “Keep in Chat” feature globally. This new feature allows users to save messages in their chat, instead of disappearing after a certain period of time. The sender has the option to decide whether they want their messages to be saved or not.
Users can now save useful messages for later with the ‘Keep in Chat’ feature, which is denoted with a bookmark icon and can be accessed in the Kept Messages folder. Once a message has been saved, the sender will be notified. This feature is available on both Android and iOS devices.
In addition, WhatsApp has also introduced a new sticker maker tool in its latest update for iOS 23.7.82, which is available on iOS 16 or later. This tool allows users to create custom stickers within the app without having to use third-party applications. Users can extract a subject from an image and paste it into a chat. The image will then be converted into a sticker and added to the user’s sticker collection.
However, users with older versions of iOS will not be able to access this new feature as WhatsApp has no plans to bring the functionality to older devices. The new stable update for iOS is available to users running the latest version of Apple’s operating system. The update also includes bug fixes and performance improvements.
