Analysts Confirm iPhone 15 Pro to Retain Original Volume Buttons, Simplifying Development Process for Apple and Boosting Fans’ Excitement

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 series has been the subject of numerous rumors and speculations, with many predicting significant hardware upgrades and design changes. However, a new report by analyst Jeff Pu suggests that one previously rumored feature may not make it into the final product.

According to Pu, the iPhone 15 Pro models may not have solid-state volume buttons, as previously rumored. Instead, they will retain the original volume button design, which has been used in previous iPhone models. The reason for this is the complicated construction of the new solid-state buttons, which would require three new haptics engines to be installed within the iPhone.

This contradicts previous reports that the new iPhone models would feature redesigned volume buttons. However, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo supports Pu’s claims and says that the iPhone 15 Pro is still in the Engineer Validation Test stage. Kuo suggests that replacing the solid-state buttons will simplify the development and testing process and won’t affect the iPhone 15 launch date.

While this decision may simplify the development process for Apple, it may harm Apple suppliers Cirrus Logic and AAC Technologies, who would have provided parts for the new buttons. However, this is just one of the many rumors surrounding the iPhone 15 series.

Reports suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro will have a titanium casing, a rounder-edged design, and narrow display bezels as thin as 1.55mm. It is expected to have a larger camera bump than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple has not confirmed any details about the iPhone 15 series, and these are all rumors and reports that may not be confirmed until the official release of the iPhone 15 series.

The iPhone 15 series is expected to come with significant hardware upgrades, and the iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to be priced higher than previous models. Apple fans will have to wait until later this year to see what the new iPhone 15 series has in store for them.
