Twitter Poll Results Spell Trouble for Musk’s CEO Future, 10 Million Negative Counts

It looks like the CEO search is on Twitter! After conducting a poll on the social media platform, it looks like most users want Elon Musk to step down as CEO. And it looks like the Tesla founder is taking their response to heart, as he announced that he’ll be on the lookout for a suitable replacement.

One person who has thrown their hat in the ring is none other than popular YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson. In a tweet, Donaldson expressed interest in leading the microblogging and social networking site, asking if he could be the next Twitter CEO. And it looks like Musk is open to the idea, as he replied to Donaldson’s tweet saying, “It’s not out of the question.”

It’s worth noting that Musk has only been at the helm of Twitter for a short while. He purchased the platform for a cool $44 billion and dethroned the previous CEO, Parag Agarwal. Since then, he’s made some changes at the company, including laying off employees and testing out new features for a “Twitter 2.0.”

But it looks like users aren’t too keen on Musk sticking around as CEO. The poll results showed that a whopping 57% of voters, or 10 million Twitter users, don’t want Musk to lead Twitter. In response, Musk announced that he’ll be stepping down as CEO once he finds a suitable replacement. And in true Musk fashion, he added a bit of levity to the situation, tweeting, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I’ll just run the software & servers teams.”

It’s worth noting that Donaldson has been critical of Musk’s recent policy changes at Twitter, including the prohibition of promoting third-party social media accounts. In response, Donaldson tweeted that Musk should step down as CEO because of these changes.

So, it looks like the search is on for the next CEO of Twitter. Will it be Donaldson or someone else? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure – it looks like the platform is in for some exciting changes in the near future!
