Hyundai’s All-New Verna: Unleashing the Power of 2 Engines and 3 Gearboxes

Hyundai is at it again, and this time, they have launched the sixth-gen Verna sedan in the Indian market. The new Verna is the talk of the town, and for good reasons too! Let’s dive into some of the features and specifications of this fantastic car.

First off, the starting price of the new Verna is INR 10.90 Lakh, making it one of the most affordable cars in its class. The new Verna is available in four trims across two engine options and three gearbox options, giving drivers a lot of options to choose from.

But the real deal is the design of the new Verna. The sedan follows Hyundai’s latest parametric design language with sharp creases and prominent cuts, making it look like a futuristic car straight out of a sci-fi movie. The full LED light bar between the bonnet and bumper lends a premium and luxurious appeal to the car. The Verna is also loaded with technology to keep drivers safe, including Level-2 ADAS technology and a 3-year free Bluelink subscription for the new owners. With a wheelbase at 2,670mm, the Verna offers one of the most spacious interiors in its segment, with a boot space of 528 liters.

The Verna comes in two petrol engine choices – 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and the latter offers 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque, making it a beast on the road. Additionally, the Verna comes with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with ‘autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, lane exit warning, among others, and 6-airbags, all four disc brakes, and ABS with EBD as standard for all variants.
