Tata Motors, the Indian carmaker, is set to launch its latest model, the 2024 Tata Nexon, in the first half of 2024. The compact SUV is currently undergoing testing ahead of its release next year. With a new design direction, the Nexon is expected to have a more mature appearance with simple design elements.
A rendering of the new Nexon has been released, showcasing the updated design. The front profile of the compact SUV may be inspired by the Harrier and Safari, as well as the Curvv concept. Meanwhile, the side profile will feature straight and simple lines with new fender designs, and new alloys will be on offer to enhance the overall look. The roof will also have a curved design.
The rear profile of the new Nexon will get many changes, including sleeker tail lights and modifications to the tailgate. The interior will feature a new dashboard, a new steering wheel, a new infotainment system, and a new digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the new Nexon will come with a new 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. The current 1.5-liter diesel engine is expected to continue.
The new design direction for the 2024 Tata Nexon aims to give the compact SUV a more grown-up appearance. With these new design elements and features, the Nexon is set to make an even bigger impact in the competitive compact SUV market.
