TVS Motor Company is about to launch a new cruiser motorcycle in Nepal, the TVS Ronin 225. The authorized distributor of TVS in Nepal, Jagdamba Motors, is all set to open bookings soon with deliveries starting from April 2023.
The TVS Ronin 225 is a neo-retro-styled roadster that features retro-inspired styling elements. It comes with an engine that generates 20.1 bhp power and 19.93 Nm torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is 225.9cc, air and oil-cooled, and has 1 cylinder with 4 valves per cylinder and fuel injection. It’s oil-cooled, self-start, and has a fuel tank capacity of 14.0 liters.
The motorcycle features an advanced suspension system with a gold-colored upside-down fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. The brakes are 300mm disc at the front and 240mm disc at the rear, and ABS (dual channel for top variant only).
The design of the TVS Ronin 225 is stylish, with a rounded fuel tank, side panels, single-piece flat seat, black engine and exhaust finish, rounded headlamp, all-LED lights, and digital speedometer with SmartXonnect connectivity to a smartphone. It is available in three colors: matte black, matte silver, and matte red, and is estimated to be priced at around NRs. 5.00 Lakhs in Nepal.
The TVS Ronin 225 comes with two riding modes: City and Wet. It has impressive performance, advanced technology, and stylish design, making it a strong competitor against Bajaj Avenger, Dominar 250, and Royal Enfield 350.
