Honor Launches Impressive Magic 5 Series with Triple Camera and 66W SuperCharge Support for Up to 50% Faster Charging

Honor unveils its latest and greatest smartphones at MWC 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, with the Honor Magic 5 series taking center stage. The company has launched two models, the Magic 5 and Magic 5 Pro, along with its first foldable flagship, the Magic Vs.

The Magic 5 Pro comes in five stunning colors, including Black, Glacier Blue, Meadow Green, Orange, and Coral Purple, while the Magic 5 variant is available in Blue and Black options. The Magic Vs, on the other hand, is offered in Cyan and Black variants.

Pricing starts at EUR 899 for the Magic 5, EUR 1199 for the Magic 5 Pro with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and EUR 1599 for the Magic Vs with the same configuration.

The Magic 5 Pro is a real powerhouse, featuring a 6.81-inch OLED display with a 19.54:9 aspect ratio, a quad-curved floating screen with gesture support, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and Adreno 740 GPU. The device also boasts a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel front snapper, and a 5,100mAh battery with a 66W SuperCharge charger and 50W wireless charging support. The Magic 5 Pro is also IP68-rated for water and dust resistance and has connectivity support for 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C.

Meanwhile, the Magic 5 is no slouch either, featuring a 6.73-inch OLED display with a 19.54:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and Adreno 740 GPU. It also has a triple rear camera setup led by a 54-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel front snapper, and a 5,100mAh battery.

As for the Magic Vs, it features a 7.9-inch inner display and a 6.45-inch external screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with Adreno 730 GPU and runs on Android-13-based MagicOS 7.1. The Magic Vs also boasts a triple rear camera setup led by a 54-megapixel primary sensor, 16-megapixel front snapper, and a 5,000mAh battery with a 66W SuperCharge charger.

All three smartphones in the Honor Magic series run on MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13. The Magic 5 and Magic 5 Pro have triple rear camera setups, including an ultra-wide camera and a telephoto lens with OIS.
